About Ashley
I graduated from Arizona State University with my Master's degree in Social Work and am proud to be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Beyond my professional credentials, I'm a devoted mother to two beautiful children, a loving wife, and a caretaker to a dog and cat who keep our household lively!
My Experience
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including children transitioning out of foster care, pregnant teens, and individuals within the neurodivergent community. My expertise extends to supporting those managing severe mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and PTSD. Additionally, I've assisted individuals navigating transitions and those affected by domestic violence.
My Approach
In therapy, I believe in taking a holistic approach, recognizing that life's challenges can feel overwhelming at times. Together, we'll explore your options, create a personalized plan, and develop coping skills to empower you on your journey. My goal is to help you find joy and take intentional steps toward a more fulfilling life.
My Toolbox
I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to every session. I utilize mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and psychoeducation techniques. Currently, I'm working towards EMDR certification to further support trauma recovery. With a trauma-informed approach, I provide a safe space for exploration and growth. Plus, I have a variety of handouts, techniques, and skills to share to support positive change.
I'm here to listen, support, and guide you toward a brighter tomorrow. Let's embark on this journey together! Please contact Elston Psychotherapy directly at 779-297-7016 to schedule an appointment with Ashley!
